Black Tahini & Chaga Nice-Cream

Ingredients

  1. 3 cups of frozen ripe bananas (the riper, the sweeter! These frozen gems give the nice-cream its creamy, rich texture)

  2. 1/2 cup black tahini (adds a deep, earthy flavor and a dose of calcium, iron, and healthy fats)

  3. 1 tbsp Ashwagandha (an ancient adaptogen known for its stress-relieving properties and hormone balance)

  4. 2 tsp Chaga crystals (packed with antioxidants to support your immune system)

  5. 1/4 cup hot water (to dissolve the Chaga crystals and help blend everything smoothly)

Preparation

  1. Prepare the Chaga: Dissolve the Chaga crystals in the hot water and let it cool slightly.

  2. Blend it up: Add the frozen bananas, black tahini, Ashwagandha, and dissolved Chaga into a high-speed blender or food processor.

  3. Pulse and blend: Start by pulsing to break down the bananas, then blend until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides as needed.

  4. Serve: Scoop your nice-cream into a bowl or cone and enjoy immediately.


Optional toppings:

  • A drizzle of extra black tahini or maple syrup

  • Cacao nibs, fresh berries or coconut flakes for extra nutrients
